Stephanie knew the route like the back of her hand. Metro North to Stamford and back. This client was really demanding and each Friday morning she’d leave Grand Central in a rush to make it in time for that 10am meeting. Presentations, stakeholders, making sure the project would eventually get done.

She wore her finest suit, a strand of pearls, button earrings, her hair swept up, and glasses affixed to her face. Briefcase in hand, coffee being nursed, and a copy of The Wall Street Journal as her reading material; it’s become part of the routine.

The odd thing was, Stephanie always returned back to New York on Monday afternoons. She find herself on the train, dressed quite differently from the corporate uniform that she’d arrive in. Short skirt, high heels, hair messy, red lips, and the only remaining evidence that she’s a “professional” was that white oxford shirt.

Needless to say, those weekly meetings were quite a success, and Stefni made sure that all those people were like, totally taken care of. And like, it’s always super good to make sure that the customer is always right, righhhhht?
